Hi Everyone,
I cant believe its nearly Christmas again ,the time really does fly when you are having fun.
I have had a really exciting year.
I got to work with a Brit award producer who wrote a track especially for me ,i had two of my previous tracks remixed by an amazing producer and i have a great team of dancers who support me in whatever i do.
I have also performed on the stage alongside a number of well known names during the summer, including Mcfly,Alisha Dixon,Chipmunk,Tinchy stryder,The wanted,Stacey solomon,Roll Deep and next week im doing the ultimate gig ever im performing alongside, Natasha Hamilton and the unbelievable Westlife in a massive venue in London.
Last Sunday i recreated the t mobile advert of getting the train station dancing ,my dancers and i got the Dolphin shopping centre dancing to raise awareness that November is world Diabetes month .
I performed a unreleased track throughout the day and we had people giving out flyers telling people what we were doing and we have had such a response from this happening that we are releasing the track on downloads and attempting a christmas number one.
Its a big task and i dont suppose for one minute we will manage it among all the other big artists but all we raise through sales trying to do it will go to JDRF (juvenile diabetes research foundation).
Most people know that i was going to release my new track on 15th November to raise awareness of world Diabetes day on 14th November, but something amazing happened and i will now be releasing in June.
I performed my track live for the first time at Pop 4 Diabetes and someone who was there watching thought it was much too good to just release in a small way so to cut a long story short i was put in touch with a PR company and radio pluggers and they are now building a team around me for a big promotional run up to my release which is all very exciting.
I was also a guest at The children with diabetes three day expo in Windsor for the second year running and we actually shot the music video for my new track while we were there, which was great fun and there were children from the UK and America featured in it.
There is so much more i could say as its been an overall good year and its not over yet and i have so much still lined up!
Pop 4 Diabetes was another great night and we had the usual celebrity support from stars of X factor,Britains got Talent,Eastenders and Hollyoaks and this year we are planning a concert at Bournemouth international centre as well as our usual October Ball.
Thats all for now folks!
Will update you again asap.
Shane xxxx
